商店街を歩く。「コロナに負けず、猛暑の中の取材。」
先日、お世話になっている大企業が都心で行っているのコロナワクチンの職場接種に現場スタッフとして受けさせていただきました。幸いに２回とも接種の副作用がなく、業務に支障はありませんでした。
今回は江東区の砂町銀座商店街に行きました。東京スカイツリーより長い、約670メートルほどに店舗が軒を連ねています。道幅が狭く、それが買いやすさに繋がっているように感じました。売上アップ！集客ヒントをたくさん収集できました。
対面販売が多く、マスクを付けたお客様も販売員との会話を買い物を楽しんでいるようでした。私も立ち止まっていたら、声をかけられ思わず惣菜を買ってしまいました。元気の良いセールストークが、私には「コロナになんか負けないぞ！」と聞こえたのです。
前回の戸越銀座商店街は1回めのワクチン接種の2時間前、今回は2回目の接種の後、砂町銀座商店街に行きました。けっして褒められることではありませんが、私もコロナに負けない気持ちです。東西線南砂町駅から遠く、炎天下の中を汗だくになって30分歩きました。取材の成果は10月の八王子まちゼミ、私が講師の「売上アップ！集客のヒント」でお話させていただきます。
