会いたい人にはすぐ会う。「自分から積極的に機会を作る」
先日、約25年ぶりに友と飲みました。きっかけは、相次ぐ親しい友の死や病気。結婚式の主賓を任せてくれた百貨店時代の部下たちも突然亡くなっています。
「今度飲もう」や「いつか飲みたい」が最近、後悔のもとになっています。約25年以上会社を助けてくれた高校時代の友も倒れ、お礼の食事もしばらくできなくなりました。
そんな後悔をしないために、「今度」や「いつか」はもうやめにすることにしました。会いたい人や飲みたい人にはその場で日程を決めるなど、自分から積極的に機会を作り、すぐ会うようにしています。
今迄は、過去を振り返ることなく地元と関わらず進んできましたが、これからは、八王子を活動の中心にしていこうと思っています。友とは、楽しく飲むことができました。あっという間の2時間でした。
